Old Forebodings

As I was taking a bath on the eve of March 30, 2010, a thought randomly fell into my head. I ended up thinking of a certain elementary classmate. I thought of how things would have turned out if she went to the same school as us, since she was a good friend back then and her older brother and I are schoolmates. It was weird to think of someone you don't really maintain communication with but as with any other random thought, I cast it aside.

Who would've thought that the next day, I'd meet her at the very busy sea port. To make the long story short, we ended up helping each other get our tickets approved faster than we would've done alone. I just don't know what to make of the strange turn of events: I get a random thought about someone I don't have contact with and end up meeting and cooperating with the person the next day.

I'm not freaked out. I'm just curious as to why these things keep happening to me.

I want to know.

  2. Because the sky is falling and there are voices in the dark that speak to us during unexpected times ;D

  7. Wow, how often does this happen Spiral? Perhaps it is a gift and something you can actually learn to control.

You should think about it. =)

  8. I doubt it's coincidence, Vlad, given that things like this happen a lot to me.

    Maybe, ken, maybe!

The thing is, DB, I only understand the meaning of what they say until after the thing has passed! I need to get better at understanding them.

I'm sorry, green, I got no tips on how to make it happen for you. If I did, I would share them!

  9. And yes, geek, things happen, but I'd really want to get into the business of harnessing this...gift.

I haven't meditated lately, Lan. And these things have been occurring a lot lately. I guess this is a sign.

Kuya Sean! If I knew the winning number, I'd be filthy Gossip Girl rich already! Teehee.

It happens a -lot- Kane, although it's a bit...cyclic? seasonal? There are times when a lot of these things just barge in and there are times when they're rare. I consider it a gift, though I have no control over it. Maybe I should...

  10. Maybe you should. I know some people who have the gift. Though it normally falls short of making someone fall in love with you =) Sigh.

    Think about it ha. =)

Anyway, how is summer treating you? I hope it has been kind.

  11. I have considered that in the past, Kane. And as for pre-cognition and love? I doubt that the former can inspire the latter. We all know how tangled love can get. ;)

Do you have the gift, Kane? I did dabble(and still do from time to time) with the Tarot. Do you know someone who can help me harness this? Please nudge me towards that person! :D

My summer has been bittersweet. Thankfully, only the ghost of the bitterness is left. As for the sweetness, I do hope it lasts. I've never felt so alive and happy and thankful, despite all the things I went through with my family over the past few rough months. I do suspect that Aphrodite and Eros have a thing for timing when it comes to touching the lives of mortals. I'm happy that they touched mine this time. :)

How was India, Kane? What epiphanies came to you in your trysts, literal, figurative, and carnal, with the sights and sounds and lives of Indians?

  12. Spiral,

Unfortunately I don't. My talents lie elsewhere, I've been told. =)

Ahhhhh... so you have found love? The sweetest of all sweet things in the world. I am happy for you.

And as for me, India was ... well, life changing. =) I will write about it. I'm still trying to sort it all out in my head. =)

  13. Hi Kane!

So do you know anyone who can teach me how to harness the powers that be? :)

Yes, Kane. I did. And thank you. I hope love finds you soon, too, and you finding love would be just as good.

I hope to read about India soon!

    xoxo
