---

Is it proper to say "I have decided that I love you." ?

Curses. This one chameleon of a brain fart requires context, does it not?

  1. Consider rather, I have decided to love you. That, or I discovered/ realized that I love you.

  2. I think those work, red. They're much, much appropriate than what I came up with. But what can I say? I have a habit of torturing myself with all these weird questions.

    No, I haven't, Incursionist. :)

  3. I don't think it has anything to do with propriety.

PS. I have been "away" for a very long time. Drop me a line and let me know how you've been?

  4. The distancing language (which may be considered hedging) would only become a concern if it were written in the passive voice, as in: "it has been decided that I love you" or "it has been decided that you are being loved"
